The Les Paul Goes Acoustic

January 22, 2001

(Click for a close-up)

The Les Paul electric guitars are the industry standard. Now, Gibson's Custom, Art & Historic Division takes it one step further with the introduction of the Custom Les Paul Acoustic.

This unique instrument is sure to capture the eyes and ears of guitar players who will appreciate its tonal spectrum and familiar Les Paul profile. It features a hand-relieved bridge design from the Pro Shop, Gibson Custom's R&D team of master luthiers, a figured maple top, hollow body, and an L.R. Baggs electronics system with a piezo pickup and rim-mounted tone and volume controls.

The guitar has a cutting tone that hits with punch and clarity. It comes with a choice of finishes such as Tangerine Burst, Translucent Blue and Translucent Black.
