Ibanez Offers New AX and GAX Models with Downshifter D-Tuners

With heavy rock favoring the low-end and players in many different genres experimenting with alternate tunings, Ibanez feels the time is right to offer models that feature a D-tuner as stock equipment. "The Downshifter D-tuner provides the fastest and easiest way to achieve alternate tunings," commented Masashi Inoue of Ibanez. "It’s simple, accurate and fast. And with the availablity of the Downshifter in both our AX and inexpensive GAX models, getting a guitar with a stock D-tuner has never been more affordable."

The new Downshifter D-tuner is available on the Ibanez AX125 (list price $449.99) and the GAX75 models (list price $329.99).
