Mackie Digital Systems has announced that the HDR24/96 is now 96KhZ capable. The free maintenance upgrade, V1.01, will support two wire AES 96 mode, which gives the Mackie HDR24/96 four channels of 96kHz AES EBU per PDI.8 card. According to Scott Garside, Recording Product Market Manager, "The net result is the user has the ability of 12 tracks at 96kHz recording on a HDR24/96."

The HDR24/96 OS V1.01 maintenance upgrade is free and will be available in Q1.
