Redwood Enters Acoustic String Market

January 24, 2001

Redwood Music Corporation announces new acoustic guitar strings. The phosphor bronze alloy strings are called Redwood Gold and will be available in popular gauges: extra light, light, medium and 12-string light.

Redwood Gold strings are packaged in recyclable card stock packaging with an extremely low acid content that helps to extend the product s shelf life - an excellent feature for both dealers ands consumers. The packages are sealed with a tamper-proof disc and are bar coded for retailer convenience. The product is completely US made.

When asked why Redwood is entering an already crowded field, sales VP Bill Robinson states, We have spoken with numerous players to find out what they like and dislike about strings currently on the market. The Redwood Gold strings are, in some cases, gauged differently than many of the leading brands to accommodate players wishes. A lot of strings sound OK, but these strings sound great and feel good. Redwood Gold acoustic guitar strings are currently available for delivery.
