New Finishes For Starclassic Performer EFX

Tama expects even stronger sales now that the Performer birch drums are available in three new Duracover finishes in the Starclassic Performer EFX line.

"Not every pro drummer wants a maple drum and not every drummer wants a wood finish drum. For those drummers we've got the perfect answer: Starclassic Performer EFX. You've got the strong projection of birch and the strong protection of covered finishes," said Koji Kamada of Tama.

Starclassic Performer EFX kits are available in three finishes, Charcoal Silk, Liquid Metal and White Silk. The standard 5 pc kit, SR522D, lists for $2399.99. Accel sets with shallow toms and an extra deep bass drum are also available.

The original lacquer finished Starclassic Performer drums are also available in nine different high gloss finishes.
