January 23, 2002

With the VIRTUALIZER PRO DSP2024P (price tba), BEHRINGER introduces the recreation of a classic. The DSP2024P features 71 effect algorithms, providing modulation, amp simulation, distortion and special effects as well as dynamic and psychoacoustics processing and equalization on top of BEHRINGER's renowned wave-adaptive VIRTUAL ROOM reverb algorithms plus 11 serial or parallel effect combinations. An improved user interface, true stereo processing with most algorithms and additional editable parameters plus high and low EQ per preset make the DSP2024P a professional and extremely flexible machine for a multitude of studio and live applications.

In addition to numerous modulation and special effects previously found only in the MODULIZER PRO, such as ring modulator, lo-fi, vinylizer and voice canceller, the DSP2024P features exciting new VIRTUAL ROOM reverb algorithms plus a variety of dynamic and psychoacoustics processing algorithms, as well as distortion effects, amp and tube simulations and more -- nearly all in true stereo. Useful combinations of favorite modulation effects like chorus, flanger, pitch or tremolo with reverb or delay algorithms are also on board. In addition, the DSP2024P allows users to edit up to 7 parameters plus high and low EQ per preset for extra customizing options, while the 100 factory presets provide a basis for individual programs that can be stored in 100 user memory locations. Extensive MIDI implementation enables complete remote control of virtually all effect parameters. Last but not least, the new VIRTUALIZER sports a vastly improved user interface, featuring logical parameter grouping along with a combination of encoders, buttons, LED's and a large LED display to facilitate easy, intuitive operation.
