BEHRINGER introduces the brand-new VMX series DJ mixers VMX100, VMX200 and VMX300 (price tba). With the VMX Series, BEHRINGER has implemented the comments and suggestions from hundreds of DJ's to come up with professional, up-to-date feature sets in truly innovative products. The three compact consoles with BEHRINGER's new VCA-controlled ULTRAGLIDE faders (VMX200/300) and effective, easy-to-use BPM counter with time and beat sync displays provide a maximum of flexibility and performance options for the most discerning DJ. The two larger mixers additionally sport a great-sounding QRS 3D surround effect, while all three incorporate high-quality components and tough build quality for years of hassle-free service.
The top-of-the-lineVMX300 offers 3 dual-input channels for connection of up to six stereo sources, five of which are top-panel selectable. Channel 1 features a built-in ULN mic preamp and an auto-talkover function with depth control, while channel 2 and 3 are designated for phono and line-level signals. Each channel offers a gain control, an extremely musical 3-band "kill" EQ with 32 dB of maximum attenuation, a 10-segment LED level meter, a PFL button with status LED and an ULTRAGLIDE fader with curve control switch. The VMX300's master section provides two separately controllable main out sections, talkover controls and a flexible PFL section that allows mixing and splitting the PFL signal as required. In addition, the reversable crossfader offers freely adjustable curve characteristics. The integrated QRS 3D stereo surround effect widens the stereo image, thus adding life and transparency to the sound. The VMX300 also features an extremely steep frequency separation via front-panel 3-way kill switches with revolutionary keyboard-like tap & hold action for creative mixing tricks.
The VMX200 offers many of its larger brethren's features but in an even more compact package. In addition to its two dual-input stereo channels with gain control and 3-band EQ, it sports a dedicated mic channel with a 2-band EQ and auto-talkover function, as well as a flexible master section, BEHRINGER QRS 3D surround circuitry and of course ULTRAGLIDE faders with curve control plus a BPM counter.
For DJ's who require the same number of inputs but don't want to sacrifice features like a BPM counter and ULTRAGLIDE faders with curve control for the crossfader, the VMX100 features two dual-input stereo channels and a ULN mic input, extremely musical 2-band kill EQ's, main and tape outs and an accurate, assignable LED level meter.
The ultra low-noise design of all three mixers ensures professional audio quality, supported by gold-plated RCA connectors. Like all products from BEHRINGER, the VMX Series features super-rugged construction that endures long years of abuse, qualifying them for dance clubs and portable DJ setups.
