BOSS has announced the CE-20 Chorus Ensemble, a top-of-the-line chorus pedal built upon 25 years of BOSS chorus experience. This programmable Twin pedal starts with classic chorus models--capturing the sound of revered effects like the CE-1 and SDD-320--and jumps into the future with entirely new chorus effects, including chorus developed specifically for bass and acoustic guitar.
The
CE-20 includes six different chorus modes developed in the BOSS sound labs: Rich, Bass, Acoustic, Standard, CE-1 and Dimensional D. This range of chorus types means it's easy to get just the right sound from the CE-20, from extremely rich chorusing to all-new bass and acoustic guitar chorusing. And the
CE-20's stereo inputs and outputs and 24-bit converters ensure that all chorus modes sound great.
The CE-20 also gives users an unprecedented amount of realtime control. The Brilliance knob sets the amount of "sparkle" by enhancing a guitar's natural harmonics--a great way to make sure it cuts through a mix. The Ambience knob adds reverberation to the chorus for even more spaciousness and depth. Combined with dedicated controls for Low and High EQ, Chorus Rate and Depth, and Effect Level, there's never been a such a tweakable chorus pedal. To top it off, the CE-20 contains four user memory locations; players can simply tap a pedal to instantly recall their favorite settings.
