PRESS RELEASE
| Go Extreme With Boss' MD-2 Mega Distortion
January 19, 2002
At the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, BOSS is to showing the new MD-2 Mega Distortion. This compact pedal takes the bottom-heavy distortion of today's new-school metal to the extreme. Thanks to the MD-2's special dual-stage distortion and Gain Boost circuits, the pedal delivers crushing distortion with massive low end.
The MD-2's distortion sounds are intended for modern metal and hard rock styles, thanks to a Gain Boost circuit that can generate huge distortion and sustain regardless of playing level. Its new Bottom control lets guitarists dial in the deep sound of a 7-string guitar, while the Tone control adjusts the high frequencies for just the right amount of bite.
The MD-2 Mega Distortion comes with a BOSS 5-year warranty.
