Featuring both Ibanez Magnetic Soundhole Pickups and Fishman Sonicore Bridge Pickup
Players who have wanted an acoustic-electric with the warmth of a magnetic soundhole pickup and the clarity of bridge pickup will get their wish with the new Ibanez MASA commemorative models.

"Our new AP2 magnetic soundhole pickup was designed for extra warmth in order to properly complement the beautiful clarity of Fishman's famous Sonicore bridge pickup. Best of all you can mix between the two pickups for any blend."
Two different MASA Commemorative acoustic-electric guitars are available. The SX version is for players who want the projection and comfort of a small body, while the larger GX version was designed to handle both plugged and unplugged performance. The new guitars commemorate the achievements of the late Masao Hoshino who was instrumental in rebuilding the Ibanez guitar making facilities destroyed during World War II.
