Studiophile SP-8B
The Studiophile SP-8B was born out of the popularity and success of the SP-5B,and the increasing need
to deliver professional monitoring solutions at an exceptional value.
The Studiophile SP-8B is a 2-Way nearfield powered monitor using an 8" magnetically-shielded mineral
filled polypropylene curved cone with a high temperature voice coil and damped rubber surround. The
high-frequency driver is a 1" magnetically-shielded natural Silk Dome for the ultimate in sound
reproduction.
- 100W powered, bi-amped monitors with 100dB signal to noise ratio.
- Magnetically shielded for use near computer monitors.
- Frequency response of 33Hz to 22kHz.
- XLR balanced input plus a TRS balanced/unbalanced input connector.
- Power ON/OFF Blue indicator on front panel.
- Protection circuitry and external fuse assure that your SP-8B will always perform.

Studiophile SP-8S Subwoofer
Seeing the need for a powered subwoofer to complete the Studiophile Series, M-Audio has
created the Studiophile SP-8S. The SP-8S contains bass management for stereo
applications.
The Studiophile SP-8S houses an 8" mineral filled polypropylene curved cone with high temperature
voice coil and damped rubber surround. Bass management allows you to filter the low-end from your
main speakers and send it to the SP-8S for precision monitoring not found in any other subwoofer.
- Bass reflex 100W Powered Subwoofer with Stereo Bass Management.
- Frequency Response is 30Hz -- 180 Hz, with adjustable 50Hz - 180Hz low-pass filter.
- Bass Management offers variable cutoff frequencies of 40Hz -- 180Hz.
- S/N Ratio : > 100dB below full output, 100Hz
- Input Connectors : 2 x XLR R/L Balanced Input Connectors; 2 x TRS Balanced/ Unbalanced Input Connector
- Output Connectors : 2 x XLR Balanced output for Satellites; 1x XLR Balanced output for Extra Sub.
- Controls include Level, Phase, Subwoofer Frequency, Satellite Frequency.
- Switches include "Auto On /Off" slide switch for power management, plus "High Pass/Bypass" slide switch for bass management on/off.
- Protection circuitry and external fuse assure that your SP-8S will always perform.
- Indicator LEDs include Power ON (Red) / Stand-by or Protection (Amber)
