Peavey offers the best of both worlds with the limited signature series Classic 30 amplifier: classic style and tone with modern versatility.
This loud, portable all-tube preamp and power amp delivers 30 Watts RMS at 16 or 8 Ohms, into a 12-inch Blue Marvel speaker. It's a great sounding amp; it's small enough to crank up and wail at club gigs, yet loud enough to hang with an aggressive drummer.
In addition, this amplifier features two channels, selectable via a panel-mounted push switch or optional two-button footswitch. There are pre- and post-gain controls on the lead channel, and a boost switch, which enables even more gain to be added for solos or hard-rock rhythms. A single volume control varies the clean-channel level, while a three-band passive EQ handles tone-shaping duties. A reverb-level control and an effects loop round out the control-panel features.
