XR696F Added to Peavey's Powered Mixer Line

(Click for a close-up)
January 22, 2002

Turn up the volume with the XR696F power mixer -- with a power amp inside and 600-Watts music program per side into 4 Ohms.

Geared for club bands, schools, rehearsal rooms, and churches, this powered mixer can supply sound for any venue requiring a portable PA system -- and with 1200 Watts, it's loud enough for any audience. This is the product you need with features making its operation simple and mobile.

Do you need independently programmable delay and reverb, a tool to eliminate feedback, an amp for your monitors and your main speakers, or all of the above? Peavey has you covered with the XR696F.

Peavey's Feedback Ferret (patent pending) is a digital acoustic feedback elimination system that automatically scans and filters out feedback -- so you don't have to. This feature is unique in the powered mixer market and makes it that much easier to operate. And, with Peavey's patented Distortion Detection Technology (DDT), power amp distortion is virtually eliminated.

In addition, the 48-bit digital effect processor, Recall, features four user-storage locations to customize effects and recall them later. It also has two adjustable perimeters letting you fine tune the effects to match your needs. Effects include plate, spring, room, halls and delays. The XR696F also has an effect where both the reverb and delay are available simultaneously.

An assignable 9-band graphic EQ can be patched to the monitor signal or channel 3 -- perfect for an acoustic guitar or any signal that needs additional EQ.
