Roland Partners with Discrete Drums

Roland Corporation U.S. is proud to announce that it will be partnering with sound developer Discrete Drums to promote their Series One Pro Set drum library.
Later this winter, a demo CD of Discrete Drums' Series One Pro Set titled "Discrete Drums - VS/CDX-1 Collection," will be packaged with all Roland VS-2480CD 24-track Digital Studio Workstations, CDX-1 DiscLabs and VS-1824CD 24-bit Digital Studio Workstations. A separate demo disc titled "Discrete Drums - BR-1180 Collection" will accompany BOSS' newly released BR-1180 Digital Recording Studio.
The bundled CDs include several "songs"--each consisting of intro, verse, chorus and bridge--in multitrack format complete with kick, snare, stereo toms, stereo overheads and stereo room. VS-2480CD and VS-1824CD users are given 24-bit multitrack files to work with, while BR-1180 and CDX-1 users are provided 16-bit stereo .WAV files.
Performing on the CD is professional drummer Greg Morrow, who has worked with numerous industry talents including the Dixie Chicks, Van Zant, 38 Special, LeAnn Rimes and Amy Grant.
