January 17, 2002

David DiFrancesco, Executive Vice-President and Engineer of Rolls Corporation announced the release of the company's latest rack-mount product; the RSE261 Dual Sonic Exciter.

The RSE261 is a single rack space, dual channel sonic enhancement device designed for the home and professional recording markets, as well as amateur and professional sound reinforcement. The efficient, streamlined design combined with smart circuitry keep the costs down.

The unit features 1/4" balanced and RCA unbalanced Inputs and Outputs, and a 12VAC 700 milliamp external power supply for powerful noise reduction.

Controls for each channel of the RSE261 are a Definition control for enhancement of the high frequencies, and a Bottom control for the lows. Each channel's processing may be independently activated via front panel switches, Clip LEDs indicate channel overload, and a Power switch and LED round out the front panel.

Theunit uses phase altering and harmonic structure manipulation circuitry to restore the signal clarity and presence. In other words, the RSE261 puts the components of the sound back where they belong.

The RSE261 Dual Sonic Exciter will have a U.S. retail price of $120.00. It begins shipping in March 2002.
