Giant Step Series Kick Pedals from Sonor

Sonor expands bass drum playing possibilities with the new Giant Step Pedal Series. With many unique, state-of-the-art features, each Giant Step has been engineered to meet the expectations of each individual drummer. There are currently two models in the Giant Step Series, the Twin Effect and the Giant Step Single.
Giant Step Twin Effect Pedal
The Giant Step Series' top model, the Twin Effect Pedal has two independently working mechanisms, plus many additional features:
- The centerpiece of this pedal's construction is a newly developed and patented Splitboard, which uses four high-speed roller bearings integrated into a crossbeam to split the board.
- For perfect foot and pedal balance, Sonor developed a Target with an individual height adjustment.
- A Power Rod with ball bearings transmits the heel board action into a kick action with high precision and energy.
- The pedal's Silent Strap Drive utilizes a heavy-duty plastic strap with a steel insert. To accommodate all preferences, optional Silent Chain Drives are also available.
- The angle of the twin Beater Cams can be independently adjusted without changing the board positions.
- Built-in Spring Mounts have high-speed needle bearings to enable the easy switch to optional springs.
- Giant Step's Rotation Pendulums use roller bearings for maximum action.
- A sturdy Docking Station mounts to the bass drum hoop and stays there.
- The Smart Connect System ensures quick and easy pedal attachment using an adjustable ball clamp through a firm lever mechanism. Smart Connect also uses a cylindrical axle connection to neutralize tensions in various bass drum positions and is equipped with an anti-slip rubber bass drum plate and Velcro.
- Several different Beater Varieties are available for revolutionary sound combinations.
- The Giant Step Bag is included with the purchase of each pedal.

Giant Step Single Pedal
Another achievement of the Giant Step Series, the Single Pedal is an engineering marvel. Equipped with all the same Sonor features as the Twin Effect, except for the Splitboard. The Single Pedal has just one Beater Cam and also comes with a Giant Step Bag.
