TC Group Launches Online Store

TC Group has launched TC-Now.com - an online shop offering hardware
accessories, software solutions and merchandise for direct sale, as well as
a brand new service providing users with the option of renting algorithms on
project basis. Mads Peter Lübeck, VP of Sales and Marketing, explains:
"Based on input from our customers and the obvious advantages provided by
online services in general we have decided to launch TC-NOW.com as an
alternative to our traditional sales channels primarily aimed at existing
users."
Mads Peter continues, "If you want to add algorithms to your System 6000
multi-channel platform or update your TC product of some kind you now have
the opportunity to make that happen right away. It is first of all a matter
of convenience, and it is in this respect that the new service RENT AN ALGO
has been introduced as well. Now you are able to rent the System 6000
algorithms, if you need one or more of them for a specific project. On top
of that, we offer full 1-to-1 reduction in the price, if you should want to
buy them at a later point in time."
TC-Now.com is divided into five separate sections offering individual
services. Three of these sections are aimed at System 6000 users. One of
them offering direct sale of platform dedicated algorithms, including the
Stereo to 5.1 UnWrap algorithm, MD-3 and MD5.1 Dynamics algorithms, and the
Backdrop Noise Reduction algorithm. Another offering direct sale of hardware
as the SP-1 Joystick and the Masterfader. The third being the RENT AN ALGO
service where existing users can rent algorithms for specific purposes. All
System 6000 processors contain 300 hours of demo licenses for each
additional algorithm available at the time of shipping. Beyond the demo
license time, RENT AN ALGO enables you to experience a fully running
algorithm for 200 hours at approximately 15% of its purchasing value.
The fourth section is aimed at existing TC Electronic users and offers all
eligible software updates on TC products in general - on PCMCIA cards,
whereas the last section offers direct sale of TC Electronic, TC-Helicon and
Dynaudio Acoustics merchandise.
