Vigier Guitars is introducing at the
Winter NAMM Show (booth 4574) the Excalibur Ultra Blues model, utilizing carbon fiber technology.
Like the Excalibur Ultra, it features a non-locking tremolo pivoting on ball
bearings, a unique, carbon fiber neck reinforcement system called 10/90
(10% carbon and 90% maple), a headstock painted to match the body, and the
pickups are directly mounted on the body. The Excalibur Ultra Blues is
equipped with 2 single-coils and 1 humbucker from DiMarzio's Virtual Vintage
series.
The two main qualities of this model are the tuning stability when using the
tremolo and its clean and fat sound.
Guitarists like Shawn Lane, Ron Thal and Craig Erickson have made the
Excalibur series the most successful European guitar in USA and this latest
Excalibur Ultra Blues model was specially designed for that country.
Vigier Guitars are distributed in U.S.A. by
