Wine Country Sequential and Zarg Music have announced the release of the Sequential Circuits Pro One, standard Prophet, and Prophet Plus software survival kits - three virtual models of the original Sequential Circuits vintage analog synthesizers in sound & performance detail for the CreamWare DSP platform. Wine Country Sequential spokesman David Sesnak explains, "Wine Country has specialized in the restoration & repair of vintage Sequential Circuits Prophet hardware since 1987. The purpose of the Sequential software survival kit is to forever preserve the integrity of the original Sequential Circuits PROPHET sounds for a new generation of musicians." The Sequential Circuits Prophets continue to enjoy a worldwide reputation for quality sound production among audio professionals since their debut NAMM in January of 1978.

Zarg Music's John Bowen was an original member of the Sequential Circuits Prophet design team, and currently produces new unique software synthesizers for CreamWare DSP cards. Sophisticated applications software optimized by Zarg for CreamWare DSP cards now accurately simulate the sounds & performance of legendary Sequential Circuits Prophets. Sesnak states, "In cooperation with Zarg Music, our company has developed software survival kits for several significant Sequential Circuits synthesizers."

Vintage Sequential Circuits keyboards restored by Wine Country were used to develop incredibly accurate software models. The Pro One software operates exactly like the original hardware, except it also adds polyphony, program memory, and full MIDI control. The standard Prophet software models its sound and operation after the legendary Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, and the Prophet Plus incorporates features from the Prophet-5, Prophet-10, Prophet 600, and Prophet T8 synthesizers. All Sequential software survival kits are delivered as an email attachment to anywhere in the world via the Internet, and are typically tax-free.

A complete PC & Mac compatible PCI system that includes the CreamWare LUNA DSP card & the Pro One software is available for $432.
