New Xone:02 DJ Mixer from Allen & Heath

Allen & Heath introduced the Xone:02, the company's first dedicated scratch mixer. The console was created by Andy Rigby Jones and combines broadcast quality audio and construction with the creative performance features and layout demanded by the serious turntablist. The Xone:02 uses high-performance features such as 45 mm dual-rail, gold contact and deluxe conductive plastic VCA faders throughout, all with contour control and reverse switching that are custom-tooled for Allen & Heath and can be easily replaced by removing the steel faceplate. The fader area is clear for action with controls such as pan and EQ out of the way on low profile sliders with a rapid-response 12dB per octave slope and asymmetric +6/-26dB of cut/boost. To match the DJ's unique style, the stereo channels have VCA pan controls on sliders that will work up/down or left/right and can be rotated for premium audio quality. The console features two dual stereo channels including an input reverse switch for battle mixing, a mic channel, stereo mix outputs and a booth output with level control for booth/link out to additional "daisy-chain" mixers.
