"BitHeadz AfroCuban Percussion" Loop Library for Phrazer

BitHeadz, Inc., the music software manufacturer, announced the release of "BitHeadz AfroCuban Percussion", MSRP $69.00. The title is intended for use with Phrazer, BitHeadz' loop composition software for Mac OS.

"BitHeadz AfroCuban Percussion" is a 130 MB compilation CD containing digitally sampled percussion instruments performing AfroCuban style rhythmic loops. There are a wide variety of rhythms from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Brazil, and Trinidad. This collection of loops includes examples of the Mambo, Rumba, Samba and Bossa Nova.

According to BitHeadz, Inc. Sound Designer Adam Holland, "The AfroCuban Percussion Loop CD takes up where other loop libraries leave off. We included lesser known variations of the Rumba such as Rumba Lyesa, Rumba Guaguanco, and Rumba Columbia. We wanted to add many more rhythmic styles for exploration such as Batá rhythms and Bembé rhythms."

Like all Phrazer native format libraries from BitHeadz, Inc., "BitHeadz AfroCuban Percussion" comes with a trial version of "Phrazer" on the content CD. For customers who don't already own Phrazer, the trial version can be fully authorized by BitHeadz, Inc. using a password generated challenge/response format. The upgrade price to the full version of Phrazer is $299.
