The RODE NT4 is a studio grade condenser microphone, supplied complete in a RODE case with a stand mount, wind shield and custom stereo cables which include both XLR and Mini Jack connectors. This makes the NT4 a totally flexible unit and enables direct connection to most recording devices. It utilizes two 1/2" capsules in a 90 degree, XY arrangement. The NT4 requires 48V phantom power but for ultimate flexibility and ease of use, a 9V battery can also be used. Great for location recordings. The RODE NT5 is a true condenser microphone specifically designed for optimum instrument recording. It performs well on all instruments including guitar, flute, violin, saxophone, drums etc. It's discrete size and design allows for effective and subtle positioning which is crucial when close mic'ing. NT5's are supplied as closely matched pairs in a custom carry case with two stand mounts and two wind shields. Both the NT4 and NT5 exhibit a full frequency response, low noise levels and the quality craftsmanship which is associated with RODE MICROPHONES. NT4 Specifications
