Samson Introduces AirLine Wireless System for Bass

January 24, 2002

(Click for a close-up)

Samson has designed a wireless system especially for bass guitarists. The new AirLine Bass Guitar System not only benefits from the latest miniaturized technology, but also takes advantage of a special circuit designed specifically for the bass.

The Airline UHF Bass Guitar System eliminates body packs with tiny micro transmitters that plug right into the bass guitar. The AP1B, the system's receiver, is designed to easily integrate into anyone's effect pedal setup and features a shape circuitry yielding a fat bottom end and fullness never before heard in a wireless system for bass.

AirLine takes wireless to a new level with transmitters so small, lightweight and aerodynamic, they offer a completely transparent, "problem-free" user experience. Less than half the size of conventional body packs, these miniaturized transmitters run on a tiny triple-A battery with up to 14 hours of life.

The system has a MSRP of $499.99.
