New Tama Rockstar Custom Mahogany Fade Finish

New in Tama's Rockstar Custom line is the Mahogany Fade Finish. Tama believes that the eye-catching new finish will do very well. "Originally we only offered fade finishes in our top of the line Starclassic Maple–and they were very well received," remarked Jennifer Powers of Tama Drums. "Then at the 2001 Summer NAMM we debuted the Dark Cherry Fade finish in our intermediate price Starclassic Performer birch line–and it's still killing. With the Mahogany Fade finish in the ultra-reasonable Rockstar Custom price point, it's as close to a sure thing as you get in this very unsure business we call MI."

Tama Rockstar Custom drums feature 9mm shells with 1 inner ply of basswood and 7 plies of Philippine Mahogany. With the addition of Mahogany Fade, the sets are available in eight different painted finishes.
