Soft Cases Available for Yamaha's Entire Drum Line

January 22, 2002

Yamaha will debut a new line of portable soft cases at Winter NAMM 2002, allowing drummers to carry their gear to and from gigs effortlessly while offering protection and peace of mind.

Combining toughness, distinctive styling and unique, product-specific features, cases are available for electronic and acoustic drum kits, snare drums, cymbals and sticks. Product offerings include a HipGig bag set with integrated wheels, a 5-wheel hardware bag, dual zipper snare bags with a replacement head pocket, and a dolly-style cymbal bag with colored dividers.

All cases contain reinforced handles for easy portability. Lightweight, breathable and tear-resistant CORDURA black nylon and interior foam padding protects against nicks, scratches, dust and moisture.

"Musical instruments are an investment," explains David Jewell, drum product manager. "Consumers want a quality means of protecting their investment and making transport easier. These portable cases more than answer those needs with serious protection and unique designs."
