Smaart Software Now Available for dbx DriveRack

dbx announced that it has received SIA Smaart support for the DriveRack 240 and 241 products. This is in addition to the Smaart support for the DriveRack 480, 481, and 482 which has previously been released. These drivers allow dbx's DriveRack loudspeaker management systems to be controlled with SIA's Smaart interface.

The new drivers make it possible to manage dbx DriveRack products using SIA's SmaartLive and SmaartPro software programs. SIA's Smaart interface is the professional audio industry's standard for sound system measurement, optimization and external device control.

dbx DriveRack units are designed for touring and fixed-installation contractors and engineers. Units feature complete EQ, crossover and compressor/limiter technology and are designed to be the only signal processors necessary between mixing consoles and powered amplifiers.
