dbx Announces Desktop Mini Tube Preamp

dbx has announced its plans for production of the Mini-Pre Vacuum Tube Microphone Preamp. The Mini-Pre is a tabletop Tube preamp that is both compact and affordable.

The Mini-Pre takes many of the characteristics from the "Silver Series" products and incorporates them into a streamlined, compact chassis design. This design process allows the Min-pre to take the classic dbx Tube Microphone Preamp sound and put it in an easy-to-use, compact, affordable package. With the new dbx Mini-Pre Vacuum Tube Microphone Preamp users will no longer need to compromise tone for affordability. From its road-worthy construction, to its professional features, such as a hand-selected 12AX7 vacuum tube that adds warmth and tone to any microphone signal, selectable 48 volt phantom power, -20 dB Pad and Phase reverse switch, the new Vacuum Tube Mini-Pre offers the same features expected of any other professional studio microphone preamp, but at a price that is much more affordable.
