BOSS has announced the new TU-15 Chromatic Tuner. This tuner boasts smooth needle tuning, an easy-to-read LCD, plus several tuning modes including open and flat tunings and Drop D. And with Accu-Pitch and Octave Adjust functions, tuning up is now easier than ever.
Accu-Pitch is a new feature that helps guitarists verify their tuning by sounding a note when the correct tuning is reached. Octave Adjust, on the other hand, simplifies guitar intonation when using an open string and the 12th fret. These features are unique to the TU-15, and help guitarists tune up faster and more accurately.
The TU-15's smooth needle movement with backlight ensures the most accurate tuning in daylight or on stage. Tuning modes include popular Drop D tuning, plus Open D/E/G/A, DADGAD and flat tunings up to five semitones. A high-impedance input makes it possible to leave the TU-15 connected between a guitar and amplifier without loss of signal quality.
