ESP announced a handful of brand spankin' new Signature models at the 2003 Winter NAMM show.
James Hetfield's "The Grynch": A very limited edition, The Grynch is a 27"
scale baritone guitar (tuned down to B) with custom green and red metallic
flames, as featured on James' own instrument. Featured on front, back and
headstock, the custom flame job. The
Grynch also features a set neck, EMG-81 & 60 active pickups, a TonePros
locking bridge system, and Sperzel locking tuners.
Stephen Carpenter SC-607B: Only Stephen would say, "Let's do a
7-string baritone guitar" like this. Tuned B-E-A-D-G-B-E, this 7-string is
even heavier than your standard 7 because of its extended scale. Features
brand new EMG 81-7 active pickups, neck-thru-body construction, TonePros
locking bridge, and comes in black and natural gloss.
George Lynch GL-600MT: Here's an LTD version of the famed George Lynch ESP
M-1 Tiger. This baby is made of maple, with a bolt-on neck, a Seymour Duncan
Screamin' Demon pickup (George's own), Original Floyd Rose locking bridge,
and ferocious tiger stripe graphics.
