With the success of their LTD Deluxe Series Guitars last year, ESP has taken the methodology to their bass lineup, creating the LTD Deluxe Bass Series.
The J-1004 and J-1005 are 4- and 5-string basses wutg quilted maple tops in natural and see-thru red
on ash bodies (the quilt also appears on the headstock), Other features:
- Construction: Bolt-on, 35" scale
- Body: Ash with quilted maple top, abalone purfling on body
- Neck/Fretboard: Maple/rosewood with dual graphite reinforcement rods
- Inlays: Abalone dots with model name at 12th fret
- Pickups: EMG 35 or 40 PJ
- Electronics: 2 volume, EMG BTS active EQ
- Hardware: Gold satin
- Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite
- Bridge: Hipshot "A" style with string-thru-body
- Binding: Creme (body)
- Frets: 21 XJ
- Colors: NG, STR
