At Winter NAMM, Electro-Voice introduced the SxA100+ loudspeaker, one of two new additions to its line of powered loudspeakers.

The SxA100+ is a compact, powered sound reinforcement loudspeaker intended for live sound, speech, playback, DJ, and institutional venues. The SxA100+ is a 12-inch two-way self-contained sound system with mixable mic and line inputs, 2-band EQ, line output and separate 350-watt dynamic LF amp and 80-watt dynamic HF amp. The SxA100+ works great as a self-contained vocal system, a powered floor monitor, and a full-range music system or can be combined with the new SbA750 15-inch powered subwoofer or SxA180 powered 18-inch subwoofer system.

The SxA100+ weighs a mere 43 pounds and has a built-in stand mount adaptor, can be used as a floor monitor and is easily suspended.

In addition, the SxA100+ features concert-proven EV components including the famous DH2010A, a one-inch-throat, wide-bandwidth titanium-diaphragm driver using a unique, convex-drive TimePath phasing plug structure for smooth and extended high-frequency response. Similarly, its 65-degree x 65-degree constant directivity horn is for excellent musical clarity and vocal intelligibility in reverberant, noisy environments. It also features EV's Ring Mode Decoupling (RMD) technology.

The SxA100+ joins a family comprised of the SxA250 15-inch two-way, SxA180 18-inch woofer system, and SbA750 compact powered subwoofer; Electro-Voice offers the customer powered speakers with excellent performance, unbelievable flexibility and untouchable value.
