| MP-3000X Dual CD Player Reads MP3 Files

Gemini unveiled the MP-3000X professional dual MP3/CD player. This unit brings to the table
the usual functions expected from a high-end Pro CD player like Pitch Control with selectable +/- 4%,
8 %, 16 % range, Pitch Bend buttons and Anti-Shock buffer memory. The twist is that it does all of
this directly to your MP3 files. Imagine not having to burn all those discs after downloading. The
hundreds of MP3 files that fit on a CD can now be manipulated in exactly the same way you would do
with your regular CD's. You can even use the Loop with real-time editing on MP3 files.
With hundreds of songs possible on a CD in MP3 format, Gemini has taken care to implement both a
normal and fast track search mode, allowing you to scroll through all the files on a disc very efficiently.
It is possible to cue a point with frame-accuracy as you would a normal CD track, as well. Gemini's
Robo-Start feature is also available, allowing hours of uninterrupted, unattended play from MP3 discs
or regular CDs. There is also a digital output for direct connection to a computer sound card or digital
input on a mixer or CD recorder.
