Ibanez unveiled its first amp with on-board digital signal processing at the 2003 Winter NAMM Show.
Commented Masashi Inoue of Ibanez Electronics, "The new TB15D Tone Blaster with DSP features 15 different digital effect settings (including reverb, chorus, flange, and octaves). With the digital effects combined with independent analog distortion, the TB15R is capable a much wider range of sounds than one would expect from such a portable package--all of which makes the 15 watt TB15D perfect for home studio recording and rehearsals."
