PRESS RELEASE

Winter NAMM Brings Korg's First Pedal Tuner

January 16, 2003

Korg introduces the new DT-10 Digital Chromatic Tuner. Representing Korg's first foray into foot pedal style tuners, the DT-10 offers an affordable solution for guitarists and bassists needing accuracy, a wide tuning range, and an easy-to-read display for convenient tuning, onstage or off.

The DT-10 has the widest tuning range of all comparable tuners, E0 (20.60Hz) - C8 (4186Hz), and supports dropped tuning (seven semitone flatted tuning mode). Featuring an angled front panel for convenient foot operation and clear viewing, the DT-10 utilizes both a large, 13-point LED meter for its pitch display, and a 16-segment LED display to identify the note being tuned. This results in the most accurate readout of all "stomp" tuners, and unmatched visibility on dark stages or low-light situations. In addition, the DT-10 offers adjustable calibration from 438Hz - 445Hz for tuning up to or down to a specific instrument within an ensemble.

Designed to withstand the rigors of the road, the DT-10 has a rugged metal chassis, and can be used as a stand-alone unit or placed directly in a pedalboard or chain of effects. It also features two outputs providing Mute or True Bypass operation.

Measuring 4.09" (W) x 2.01" (H) x 4.69" (D) and weighing 0.90 lbs., the DT-10 can be powered by either a 9-Volt battery or by the optional AC adapter. The DT-10 Digital Tuner will be available in the U.S. in March 2003 with an MSRP of $139.99.
