M80 DJ Monitors Coming from Numark

Numark announced plans to introduce a new series of monitor speakers for professional DJ applications, starting with the premium M80 model. The Numark M80 is a high performance speaker system designed for booth monitor applications, featuring tough construction to stand up to wear and tear in mobile and club applications plus superior fidelity for accurate booth control.
The M80 is a self-powered, bi-amplified speaker system w/active crossover, rated at 130 Watts System or 65 Watts per speaker (45W LF, 20W HF RMS power), with 20Hz-20kHz Frequency Response and easily accessible Gain, Bass, and Treble controls located on each speaker. The M80 also features magnetically-shielded drivers for reliable performance near other electronic equipment, enclosed in a multi-positional cabinet design for horizontal or vertical setup. The cabinet accommodates standard mounting brackets (not included) for permanent installation. Rounding out the set of professional features are RCA and 1/4" TRS balanced input connectors.

The M80 speaker will start shipping in February, 2003, and have an estimated street price of $299.00.
