New Acoustic Guitar Amp from Roland

New AC-60 Boasts 2-Channels of Powerful Output, Onboard Effects and Anti Feedback

January 17, 2003

Roland is proud to announce the AC-60 Acoustic Chorus amplifier. This innovative stereo amp uses sophisticated digital signal processing to deliver a crisp sound with lush stereo/multi-band chorus and delay/reverb, as well as impressive Auto Anti-Feedback control. The AC-60's 30-watt/dual 6.5-inch speaker configuration can be augmented via a Subwoofer output, while its 2-channel design accommodates a guitar and microphone with Phantom Power.

The AC-60 is a marvel of amplifier design, using the latest DSP technology to deliver rich acoustic sound with projection beyond its compact size. This stereo acoustic amp (30w x 2) offers stereo/multi-band chorus including a new "wide" mode, plus reverb tailored specifically for acoustic guitar. A Subwoofer output lets guitarists connect an optional subwoofer for increased low end.

The dual-channel AC-60 offers both a Guitar channel and a Mic/Line channel with Phantom Power. This makes it the perfect companion for coffeehouses and small club gigs. The Guitar channel offers a choice between piezo and magnetic pickup inputs, plus powerful Anti-Feedback controls. Rounding out this package is a Mute switch for silent tuning and a Stereo Line Out for connection to mixing consoles and PA systems. A built-in tilt stand offers better acoustic projection. Or, players can mount the AC-60 on commercially available speaker stands.

Connections to the AC-60 include a Guitar Channel input (1/4-inch), a Mic/Line input (XLR or 1/4-inch), stereo Auxiliary inputs (1/4-inch or RCA), stereo Line outputs (XLR or 1/4-inch), a DI/Tuner output (1/4-inch), Subwoofer output (1/4-inch), Footswitch input and a stereo Headphones jack.
