OS X Drivers for ST Audio's DSP24 Series Cards Ready January 20, 2003
New CoreAudio compatible drivers for Apple's latest operating system, Mac OS X, are available for download on www.staudio.com. ST Audio now supports Mac OS X compatibility for the DSP24 series of cards. The new drivers allow users to install DSP24 PCI cards in modern G3 and G4 Power Macintosh systems.
New drivers are provided for the DSP24 Value, a 24bit/96kHz audiocard, the DSP24 MEDIA 7.1 package, a 24bit/96kHz audiocard with built-in hardware GM/GS synthesizer, and the DSP2000 C-Port system, a multi I/O audiocard. Other DSP24 based products are supported on the Macintosh platform now as well.
The drivers have been successfully tested with popular Mac OS X audio applications such as Emagic Logic Audio Platinum, BIAS Peak, BIAs Deck, TC Works Spark and Ableton Live - among others. All special functions of the card (real-time hardware monitoring, built-in digital mixer, ultra-low-latency support, ...) are provided without limitations.
