The AVENGER, the original Diamond Series guitar, has been redesigned and will be part of Schecter's 2003 line making its debut at Winter NAMM.
The new AVENGER will be available on two distinct 'looks'.
Both will feature a Set-In 25 1/2" mahogany neck, Avenger styled mahogany 'slab' body, two Duncan Design H-103 High Output humbuckers, and Pearl tipped Grover tuners. The 24 fret rosewood fingerboards are adorned with elegant Abalone and Pearl 'crown' inlays.
The Dark Vintage Sunburst (DVS) has a look that is all vintage, complete with creme binding and a complete TonePros locking bridge system (Tune-o-matic and Stop Tailpiece).
The Gloss Black Avenger (BLK) is completely trimmed in head-turning abalone binding. The instruments' natural sustain is further enhanced by the TonePros tune-omatic and Schecter's string-thru-body tail design.
The dual Duncan Design H-103 Humbuckers can be 'tapped' via a push/pull control on the Tone control, yielding a wide variety of tonal options.
The new Avengers will be available from Authorized Schecter Dealers in January.
