At Winter NAMM, Schecter Guitar Research debuted their new Diamond Series C-1 E/A Semi Hollow. Based on their popular 'C' style Diamond Series guitars; the new C-1 E/A features a deeper body design, giving this new guitar the tone and warmth of a vintage hollow body.
Features include a highly figured Quilted maple top over a bound mahogany body which has dual traditional 'f' holes.
The 22-fret 25 1/2" scale neck is constructed from 3pc Mahogany and is set into the body with a unique sculpted heal-joint, allowing for easy playing access to the upper register. The rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with Schecter's split-crown design.
The heart of the new C-1 E/A is the newly designed RMC Piezo circuit, which is loaded into a TonePros locking tune-o-matic bridge. This system, designed by piezo guru, Richard McClish yields a amazing realistic, pure acoustic tone. Combined with two Duncan Design H-102 Humbuckers, the C-1 E/A becomes one versatile instrument.
The humbuckers and the Piezo signal can be combined and blended into one signal,
or can be split into two separate sources, as a guitar amp and direct into a PA or recording console. Chrome Grover tuning machines is also standard on this model.
The C-1 E/A will be available in See-Thru Black (STBLK) and Dark Vintage Sunburst (DVS) .
MSRP: $999.00
