PRESS RELEASE

European Distributor for Sonomic's Library Card Announced

Sonic Distribution/OmniSonic to Handle European Sales for Online Sound Library Products

January 16, 2003

Sonomic has appointed Sonic Distribution/OmniSonic as exclusive European distributors of its new retail product, the Sonomic Online Library Card. A first in the soundware industry, the Sonomic Online Library Card gives users the ability to audition and select only the sounds they need from all the collections of Zero G, Sound Ideas, the BBC, Sampleheads, Q Up Arts, Valentino, Universal Sound Bank, and many more sound providers.

Each Library Card contains a unique serial code that enables users to search for, preview and download their choice of 50 samples or 20 sound effects from Sonomic's collection of over 200,000 sounds. Sonomic adds thousands of new sounds each month, ensuring that Library Card users have a constantly growing fresh selection to choose from. All sounds can be downloaded instantly in acidized WAV or AIFF formats for immediate use with any type of audio hardware or software. In addition, Library Card users get their own SOUNDBAY, a tool that allows them to store, organize and access their personal Sonomic sound collection. All of the sounds stored in the SOUNDBAY are secure and can be downloaded as many times as needed from any computer.

"The functionality and sheer scale of the Sonomic Online Library is unprecedented ," said James Young, co-President of Sonic Distribution/OmniSonic. "By combining this with the Library Card product, Sonomic is offering users the ability to customize their own sound library from a virtually limitless selection. The potential for this cutting-edge product in Europe is tremendous and we are thus very excited to be working with Sonomic."

"The Sonomic Online Library Card is revolutionizing the way people access and aggregate their sounds," said Douglas Price, co-founder and COO of Sonomic. "With CD sound libraries, buyers must blindly spend hundreds of dollars in hopes that the CD contains usable sounds. The selection of sounds is limited to the contents of the CD and users must spend hours searching just to find the right sound. The Library Card eliminates all of this by enabling users to search for, audition and select exactly the sounds they need from a library of over 200,000 sounds. In short, Sonomic is offering a way to greatly enhance the production process while effectively expanding creative possibilities. We are proud to be working with Sonic Distribution/Omnisonic to introduce the Library Card to the European market."

Currently available in North American retail stores including Guitar Center, Sam Ash and dozens of independent retailers, each Library Card includes a choice of 50 samples or 20 sound effects and the SOUNDBAY library management tool.

The Sonomic Online Library Card MSSP is priced at £39 for the United Kingdom and €59 for E.U. countries. Further information about price, availability and compatibility can be found online at www.sonomic.com/librarycard.
