The Zildjian Company announced the addition of the new Adrian Young Artist Series Model to its line of drumsticks designed by the world's top drummers.
Developed with the insight of the dynamic drummer for the popular band, No Doubt, the Adrian Young Artist Series Model is excellent for a wide range of musical applications. This full-sized stick is 0.585 inches in diameter and 16 1/2 inches long, which provides an excellent balance and strong throw to the stick. The uniquely angled nylon bead provides extra durability and clear projection.
Consistent with the extremely visual element of No Doubt, the stick is stained a vibrant "Rocksteady" bright red and Adrian's name is printed on the stick in signature No Doubt text with a great checkerboard graphic. The stick is constructed from U.S. Select Hickory at the Zildjian Drumstick Factory in Moundville, Al.
After joining No Doubt in 1989, Adrian quickly proved himself to be a very solid and creative musician. His infectious rock/ska-flavored rhythms helped No Doubt achieve multi-platinum status with their 1995 major-label release, "Tragic Kingdom". With five albums now under his belt, Adrian has been able to masterfully blend his various rock, ska, and punk influences to develop a playing style, which compliments his band and serves each song very well.
