The Zildjian Company revealed their latest cymbal technology with three new Z Custom Cymbals. Like all Z Customs, the new Mastersound HiHats, Projection Crash, and 20" Medium Crash are loud, raw and aggressive.
These new Z Custom Crashes include the loudest cymbals that Zildjian has ever created. For Z Custom artists who rely on this range to be heard in loud settings, Projection Crashes provide an exclamation point that can be heard above the other Z's. Sound Lab technicians achieved this feat with a new profile design and the largest cup size ever in a Zildjian Crash cymbal. And now the first ever 20" Crash model has been added to the Z Custom Medium Crash selection: Stand Back!
The new Z Custom Mastersound HiHats extend Zildjian's trademark Mastersound design to the Z Custom range. Z Custom drummers sought the same clean, fast, clear "chick" sound which the hammered grooves on the bottom cymbal of the Mastersound design had brought to other Zildjian ranges. With the extension of this design to the powerful Z Custom range you can now add "extremely loud" to this list too.
The Projection Crash is offered in 18" and 19" heavy models. The Medium Crash is offered in a 20" model. The Mastersound HiHats are offered in 14" and 15" medium heavy and heavy models.
