Based upon the ADAT HD24's technology, the new ADAT HD24 XR gives project studio musicians and engineers 24 tracks of pristine digital recording with analog and digital sample rates from 44.1kHz to 96kHz (12 tracks at 96kHz). Distinguished from computer-based systems and their inherent processor-based limitations, the HD24 XR is a dedicated recorder that delivers 12 simultaneous record/playback channels at 88.2/96kHz and up to 24 simultaneous record/playback channels at 44.1/48kHz. This translates into no crashes or compatibility issues, and greater productivity over months and years of recording sessions.

With a dynamic range greater than 112dB–from analog in to analog out–and less than .001% THD, the HD24 XR provides superb sound quality for any professional audio application. MIDI, ADAT Sync, Ethernet, and an LRC remote are standard equipment, eliminating the need for expensive add-ons or interfaces. And data storage is accomplished via convenient swappable IDE hard drives, providing a very affordable media for virtually limitless recording.
