BOSS has announced the new AB-2 2-Way Selector. This easy-to-use pedal gives guitarists a quick and silent way to instantly switch between two different guitars or effects setups, change amps, or switch between an amp and tuner. With its silent switching and easy 1-click operation, the AB-2 is an indispensable tool for live performers. The AB-2's 2-way selector lets guitarists configure the pedal for switching between two inputs routed to a single output, or for using one input routed to a choice of outputs. Using the first configuration, a guitarist could keep two different guitars plugged in and conveniently switch between them without having to re-patch into an amplifier or effects unit. Using the second configuration, a single guitar could be instantly routed to a second amp, effects setup or even a tuner. BOSS' silent switching technology helps reduce noise when switching configurations–perfect for use on stage. Connections to the AB-2 include 1/4-inch A and B connections and a selectable 1/4-inch Input/Output. Like all BOSS compact pedals, the AB-2 comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
