"Delta" Ball-Bearing Throw-Off, TrueTone Wires Offered on DW Snares

Drum Workshop has announced that all DW Edge and Craviotto snare drums will now feature DW's new "Delta" ball-bearing snare throw-off and TrueTone handcrafted snare wires. The adjustable "Delta" throw-off features an exclusive (patent pending) design that incorporates the smoothness and ultra-secure locking abilities of internal ball-bearings. The new throw-off offers virtually effortless yet completely reliable operation and is a major advance in snare drum design.

In addition to the Delta throw-off, DW Edge and Craviotto as well as Collector's Series snare drums now also come equipped with a set of TrueTone custom snare wires. The proprietary wires are made from a high-grade steel alloy attached to brass end-clips and, due to their increased consistency and quality, offer superior tone and response.
