For 2003, ESP has updated their 600 signature series. Some of the old "500" series Signature instruments are being upgraded to the 600s. Now, the Kirk Hammett KH-602 & KH-603 feature EMG-81 active pickups and the Original Floyd Rose bridge. The Stephen Carpenter SC-600 now comes with a Seymour Duncan SH-4 humbucker and TonePros locking bridge. The Max Cavalera MC-600 now features Brazil flag graphics, as well as a Seymour Duncan SH-6 pickup. And the Tom Araya TA-600 bass now comes with EMG DC active pickups and our new ESP BB-604 bridge. Brand new for 2003 are ESP's 200 Signature Series, making the Signature Series even more affordable. The Kirk Hammett KH-202 & KH-203 are much like their 600-level counterparts, but with bolt-on necks, EMG-HZ pickups, and Floyd Rose Licensed bridges. The Stephen Carpenter SC-200, too, is a bolt-on with Duncan Designed pickups. The Max Cavalera MC-200 is a bolt-on in Brazil green with a Duncan Designed pickup. And the Tom Araya TA-200 bass is a bolt-on with EMG-35 HZ pickups and our ESP BB-04 bridge. Now dig their prices: KH-202 & KH-203 - $649; SC-200 - $599; MC-200 - $599; TA-200 - $749. (All prices are US Suggested Retail.)
