Marcus Miller Jazz Bass V Added to Fender's Artist Series

January 23, 2003

The Marcus Miller Jazz Bass V is a state of the art collaboration between Marcus Miller and Fender's dedicated R&D team. The MMV features an Ash body coupled to a Maple neck with a separate laminated Maple fingerboard arched to a vintage 7.25" radius. Hipshot Ultralite tuning machines are placed in a 4-over / 1-under headstock array, and eye-catching White binding and Pearloid block inlays adorn the fingerboard. Marcus' trademark Black pickguard / control plate houses a unique 18-volt active preamp with a much requested active/passive switch. A chrome neck pickup cover tops off the feature set of this incredible signature bass.
