The Seymour Duncan Signature Esquire is modeled after Seymour's personal 1954 Esquire. The guitar features a lightweight solid Ash body, special shaped Hard Rock Maple neck, and a Custom Designed pickup built by Seymour himself. Every aspect of the building of this guitar was personally overseen by Seymour, including the special wiring he did on each of these instruments. The finish on the body is 100% Nitro Lacquer, as is the thin finish on the neck.
