Gibson USA adds the well-played look of its popular "worn" finishes to a legendary Les Paul design with the new Les Paul Faded – Double Cutaway. Available in Worn Cherry and Worn Yellow finishes, the new model has the aura of classic Les Paul Specials and Juniors from 1958-60. "The Faded look is perfect for the double-cut Les Paul," says Henry Juszkiewicz, Gibson chairman and CEO. "The originals, with their time-worn finishes, are still among the all-time favorite Gibsons, and the new Faded finish says 'This is my favorite guitar,' right out of the case." The new Les Paul Faded – Double Cutaway has a pair of single-coil P-90 pickups, like the original Les Paul Special. Other features include a '60s-style slim-taper mahogany neck, unbound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, and chrome-plated hardware. Gibson USA introduced the Faded Series at winter NAMM 2002, and the popular line includes the SG Special Faded, the V-Factor Faded and the Les Paul Special-HB (single-cutaway).
