Peavey has introduced the Ecoustic 110 EFX and 112 EFX acoustic guitar amplifiers. These amps are for amplifying any acoustic/electric instrument, plus their fully independent channels also make them the perfect multi-use amplifier for vocals, drum machines and keyboards in solo or full-band setups. Both amp models feature two independent multi-band graphic EQs, as well as chorus, flanger, delay, doubler, rotating speaker effects and a built-in Feedback Ferret feedback eliminator. The Feedback Ferret applies a narrow notch filter on specific problem frequencies to eliminate feedback without sacrificing tonal quality. The device continuously checks and rechecks the designated problem frequencies and then releases the filter when it no longer detects feedback. This design allows the Ferret to apply the correct amount of filtration and guarantee that the sound will not become muddied. The microphone channel includes a phantom-powered, balanced low-Z input and a high-Z input that can be used for drum machines or tape decks. The Ecoustic Series amps also feature a phase reverse switch and an optional, semi-programmable footswitch. The bi-amped Ecoustic 112 EFX drives 100 Watts to the lows and mids and 25 Watts to the highs into its 12" speaker, while the bi-amped Ecoustic 110 EFX drives 30 Watts to the lows and mids and 10 Watts to the highs into its 10" speaker. The Ecoustic 110 EFX also features a CD/auxiliary input. The Ecoustic 110 EFX and 112 EFX will be available from Authorized Peavey Dealers in 2003. Ecoustic 112 EFX
